Higashi-sakura Pakuchi — Restaurant in Nagoya

I have never given a bad review to any restaurant, but I felt severely discriminated against in this restaurant. We called to make a reservation, but you misheard the number of people and refused us entry. Would we, as the reservation holders, deliberately give the wrong number of people? As a result, we not only did not receive a single apology, but were repeatedly refused entry. My friends who were going with us hoped to negotiate for more seats for us because we did make reservations. But they were considered "angry" and the staff was bothered. Why should customers pay for your mistakes? After my friend remained silent, the staff pointed at her and said that her angry was bothering him. So what about the trouble you caused to customers? Customers are not allowed to bother you, so is it right for you to bother customers who have made reservations? Is this the way Japanese treat people with courtesy? Why did you point at the female customer and say: You are angry and bother me? If we were Caucasian customers, would you still treat us so rudely? Your business is good, and you may not care whether this customer is treated kindly or not. If you don't like foreign customers, please don't pretend to be friendly. The place was packed when we visited on one Saturday evening, so we had to wait about 15 minutes outside. And several more people came by and the crowd outside has became larger. Once inside, despite being packed, the staff always arrived quickly and our orders also arrived quickly. And the staff didn't look annoyed because being busy, always polite. Menu is both in English and also Japanese, with menu in Thai on the wall. The menu also contains pictures and simple descriptions in English for those not knowing Japanese too much. Prices are reasonable, can't really complain. Just maybe the Thai pop from the speakers was bit annoying, but overall nice atmosphere, made us feel like in Thailand on our visit. [Edit: The quantity of the food served -as well as the ingredients in each dish- has been reduced considerably in the past 2 years. I am a little disappointed] I go there every time I can. I love their food! Everything is delicious, the portions are the perfect size, and it's not really expensive. The atmosphere is lively, with pop/folk/traditional mix music playing on the speakers all the time. The staff is great! Everyone's friendly, patient, polite, and always smiling. It's a shame they're closed on...
