Dia Coffee — Restaurant in Nagoya

Lovely place with welcoming and nice owners. We had the breakfast set, which was delicious and worth the value!

The buttered toast was thick, crispy on the outside and fluffy soft in the inside. On the side, you have cream and sweet red beans for you to spread on your toast, making it even more tasty. The set comes with coffee or tea, plus a pack of nut snacks and a slice of rusk (crispy sugar toast). It’s 500¥ per set if you choose coffee and 600¥ if you choose tea.

It was a great and filling start to our morning! The decor is also well thought of, giving an authentic coffeeshop yet homey and insta-worthy vibe!

Ordered Ogura toast set which comes with a coffee for just 600yen. Bread was thick and well toasted with butter, red bean paste was delicious. One of my favourite in Nagoya

高岳駅近くにある喫茶店です。名古屋旅行の際、小倉トーストのモーニングが食べたくお邪魔しました。入り口には業務用のコーヒー焙煎機、コーヒーの麻袋が鎮座しており無骨ではありなからも味のある店の雰囲気です。休日の朝7時半と早めの来店にかかわらず地元の方？で店内は賑わっていました。入れ替わりのタイミングで入れたため、待ち時間はありませんでしたが、もう少し遅い時間だと待つのではないでしょうか。 注文は、アイスコーヒーでモーニングをチョイス。少し待つと、厚切りのトーストと小倉とホイップが乗った皿と断熱用のタンブラーに入ったアイスコーヒーかが運ばれてきました。タンブラーに入っていると、長い間氷でコーヒーが薄くならないため嬉しい心配りです。小倉トーストは、トースト、ホイップ、小倉が別々で提供されるタイプです。自分で調整し小倉トーストを楽しめます。トーストにはバターがたっぷりと染み込んでおり、ホイップと小倉を乗せて食べると甘辛しょっぱく丁度いい甘さでとても美味しかったです。コーヒーを注文すると茶菓子的なものがモーニングとは別に提供されるようでメロンケーキとお豆的な物もついてきました。450円で美味しいコーヒー、モーニング、お菓子までついて大変お得...
