I have been to the Osu shopping district before but never tried this coffee shop. On my second visit I am happy I did! The man who greeted was very friendly even to my son (I am presuming he is the owner). He even warned me that it was a smoking establishment. I forgot to get his name though. I loved the atmosphere of the place because it transported me a few decades into the past. The latte was great, no frills but delicious!

This is Nagoya Japan 良かったです。大須に行った時は必ず訪れます。 カフェオレとアメリカンコーヒーとブレンドコーヒーとかの値段が同じなのが良いです。 こじんまりとした常連さんの多そうなお店で、タバコが吸えます。大須商店街の雰囲気を店内に取り込んでいるのでしょうか。断絶されてない感。この商店街が好きで愛煙家なら、きっと気にいるはず。 満席の時に入ろうとすると「すいません、満席でーす」と入店させないし、並ばせないとこも好き。かといって店内の人にプレッシャーがかからない雰囲気がある…気がする。気のせいかもしれません。時々「あ、もう出るよ」と声をかける客もいて、そういうのも良い感じ。 あと店内の床が少し傾いていて、入店すると若干足元がぐらつくところも好きです。

A hole-in-the-wall tiny ancient coffee house that serves nice coffee and toast. Elderly lady doesn't speak English but is able to make basic communication for order to be taken. It's a unique experience for foreigner. But when I was there, there was a customer who was puffing away, the cigarette smoke in such a confined space is unbearable, so I gave it 3 stars...

The signboard outside is conspicuously showing "Coffee".stopped by for coffee and toast about 10am as it was still early and most of the shops opens at 11am. Had limited availability at this early hour, so we had the butter toast and blend coffee. Toast and coffee was surprising really good. Nice family environment feel and it has...
