This was the second time in two weeks that I visited SUNDAY FULLER CAFE. On this visit, I wanted to try their blend coffee. The taste was solid; a nice mix of sour and bitter. I enjoyed the cup that it came in, as it was nostalgic to me (more on that later). I also tried the croffle, which was fantastic. It was my first time having one. The texture was crispy yet soft. The butter and syrup blend that came with it was a good portion.
Figuring out how to access the cafe can be a bit difficult, but if you are coming from Nagoya Station, take the right side street by the cafe and you should see a SUNDAY FULLER CAFE sign directing you up to the second floor of the building.
The interior had tall ceilings and huge windows, making it feel spacious. There are many different kinds of seating, giving you options on first-time or repeat visits.
For me, the best feature about this cafe is the interior design. It is clearly inspired by Americana, from the bar seating to the wall tiles to the cups and coasters and so on. I won't spoil everything, but there are so many little details in this one cafe that it should inspire you to explore for yourself. Besides the design, the music played was older country music, making me feel right at home.
The staff were incredibly kind and provided good recommendations for this visit.
I felt that the prices of what I ordered and received were more than fair.

Read moreGoing upstairs through a narrow stair, then there is a cafe that is famous for “croffle”, which is sweets, waffle-shaped croissant dough. (There is an izakaya on the ground floor.) There are about 4 seats at the counter, also about 4 seats at the window side. There are 4 tables inner.
Probably a morning combo (Time limited) is a good bargain, adding ¥250 to drinks that come with a small food. But I came here afternoon. I ordered a croffle with butter, red beans and vanilla ice cream and a glass of coffee. The price is based for plain croffle, adding topping which is +¥100~¥250. So I added 2 options. Their drinks are a bit expensive but maybe they have a strong preference for coffee. So, in my opinion, I’ll be back for the morning menu or may come again for coffee time in a fancy mood. But I like their atmosphere, comfy to stay.
90% of their customers are women, they accept...
Read moreUnsure if racist to foreigners or just some misunderstanding. We were a group of 4.
Waited a while to get in as there was a line. We arrived at the front of the line, told that it was busy and would only let 2 of us in at a time. We said it was okay and we had no issue.
The waitress goes back inside, couple minutes later, she translates to us that it will be a 30 minute wait. We said it was okay and we had no issue.
There were other Japanese people behind us and they were let in. (There were maybe like 4 empty seats inside)
Again we wait, a new message arrived that now only 1 of us were allowed at time. Maybe their final nice push for us to go away. So we left. once we left we saw more Japanese locals be let inside
Was really looking forward since the vibe looked nice and it was the only cafe open past 10pm.
Would give a 0 but the...
