👎🏻The bad: When I checked in at the front desk on the first day, I had a low ponytail hair style (my estimated name was obscured due to the employee card). Ms. Mimura (美村)had a bad attitude and deliberately covered her name tag to prevent customers from seeing her name. But she also checked her passport. If Japan really values privacy, don’t guests need to respect it? She did not answer the guest's questions. The customer came in the rain and paid the full amount. (estimate: racism) Duplicate registration procedures, waste of timeThe service was so bad that I met this Ms. Mimura (美村)at the front desk of the hotel while taking the subway. She had a fierce look in her eyes and was whispering to other colleagues, making fun of us from top to bottom. On the third day after checking in, we enjoyed the free drinks provided by the hotel in the cafe on the second floor. There were a Japanese family of three (our hair seemed wet and messy after taking a shower) and two of us. We were stared at and complained to the front desk (the front desk clerk looked at us and asked whether we should gesture or not???) and were suspicious. We are not guests. The hotel location is not very convenient. If it is not 15-11-2024, there is an event to make the price higher and there is no other option. Choosing this hotel is the worst hotel experience we have ever experienced in Japan No. 2. 👍🏻Good: The hotel room is spacious and clean. The hotel buffet breakfast is good. The hotel facilities are sufficient. Except for Ms. **) at the front desk, other staff have...
Read moreIt's only 10 minutes walk from the train and underground station, also it has many restaurant and shop within 5 minutes walk, so it's very convenient. It's also located in the inner street, so it's not noisy at all. There's self service coffee & tea in the afternoon and evening at the library cafe with lots of chairs and table, which is on the same floor as the lobby. The room is bigger than the usual Japan hotel room, bathroom is consider big. The hotel is relatively new, so it even has wireless charging in the room!Breakfast was good, and staff serving the breakfast speak very good English. There's no toiletries in the room, but there's some basic amenities you can pick up at the front desk, such as tooth brush, shaving razors, and a comb. However, there's no moisturizing lotion available, so bring your own as it was super dry when...
Read moreThe room and bathroom are in a good size compared to the other hotel in Japan we've stayed. It's not luxurious and clean and simple and the hotel building is fairly new. The only negative thing I would say is the desk is a bit small, so it's a bit hard to spread your stuff without putting things on the bed. However, in return it leaves a bigger space to place the suitcase in the room.Breakfast was good, I like that they server proper bread, and there's even a small bottle of water beside the oven for you to spray on your bread before reheating it, keep it moist and the outside crispy. Really appreciated these little point. There's also a microwave which you could use to reheat your takeaway dinner. The overall experience is good and would definitely...
