We loved this place because it is a modern izakaya without the smell of smoke or grease. They have a no smoking indoors policy - thank you! Fabulous food cooked so well by the chef - every dish we ordered was delicious & melted in our mouths. There was a cover charge of ¥1,000 per person for dinner but that came with 5 pieces of appetisers so that was brilliant! The other individual tapas style dishes we ordered were between ¥800-900 but there are larger plates between ¥1,000-2,500 if you are hungry or have a bigger group. We ordered 3 dishes (tofu & beef, chicken sausage & pork cartilage) and with our appetisers & drinks was more than enough to fill us up. One of the best places I've ever been to in Japan. From the appetizers they gave out, to the braised fish... everything was very tasty & well sought out to say the least.

They also have a very good variety of beer, awamori, sake and whiskey. It was good enough for me to go pedal to the medal every visit.

The owner is a kind, generous man who doesn't speak English well, but with translation apps, I had a blast every time I went there.
