The number one reason why I'd recommend this cafe is that it had a quiet, relaxed atmosphere. The usual noise found in most cafes is replaced with quiet, but not so much that one feels rude to talk. The coffee is well presented, served quite quickly and had a great balance between bitterness and sweetness. One needs to be able to read Katakana, or at least be able to ask for your types of coffee in Japanese, but foreigners should have little problem.

I love this cafe! The coffee is very good and the scones are amazing and come with really delicious jam and syrup. I came here all the time to work and enjoy the peaceful, beautiful atmosphere. The lady is very nice too!

※ランチとかご飯類は無いので注意！！ 老舗の赤湯温泉にあって、ガーリーなスタイルカフェ。落ち着いた雰囲気でゆっくりとガールズトークを交わすためにあるようなカフェ。3組も入ったらもういっぱいの小さな店内では、静かに過ごして欲しいだろうな〜というオーナーのこだわりが感じられる雰囲気。調度品の映える感じと白を基調とした店内で、美味しいコーヒーと手作りでありながら今風のケーキの味。ニューヨークチーズケーキは濃厚で酸味もあっておいしい。モカロールはスポンジがしっかりめに密度あっておいしかったです。雑誌の特集にも耐えられるようないいお店だなー
