Unsuspecting restaurant that crafts humble-looking dishes with superb taste.
While the staff informed us that we had to wait ~30 minutes… we waited for nearly 50 minutes to be seated. But WOW, the wait was definitely well worth it.
Their seasonal menu for November undoubtedly captured the essence of autumn. There was an insane depth of flavours from the chicken stew. The shiitake delivered earthiness that paired nicely with the chrysanthemum leaves. The texture from the taro salad was divine while the soup was heartwarming.
The showstopper for this restaurant has got to be their seasonal parfait - made up of chestnut mont blanc, granola bits, rum and raisin ice cream and coffee jelly. Every single bite sent us to dessert heaven. I would also like to highlight their homemade craft cola which was so damn addictive.

You could leave your name and local mobile number and they would call you when a seat is available (would hold seat for 30min). The counter seats were recommended where you could see the master manually brew the aromatic coffee using kettle and filter and also grinding of coffee beans for each brew.
The seasonal set lunch was deliciously prepared and my favourite was the Gobou (Burdock) with potatoes salad. The panna cotta (best seller) and cafe latte were a perfect pair to end the lunch. You could self-served complimentary water too.

We ordered parfait and coffee and waited a long time for the order, even though the place emptied in the meantime. The order was served separately.
