This little restaurant was recommended to us by our tour guide in Nara. It’s about a ten minute walk from the train station and you may wait an hour (under a shaded cover with benches) but it’s worth it if you are a foodie and like to try all of the local cuisine. We both ordered the omelette rice set. Service is super fast and friendly (they only have about five tables so turnover is very important). The dish is very savory and pairs well with the sauce. Best omurice ever! Omelet Rice Set - Every bite is just sooo good... rice was tomato based and perfectly cooked and egg was the right amount of doneness, not too watery but yet fluffy and creamy. Demiglace Sauce was great pairing too. Service was also good. We walk in at 1:30pm on a Tuesday so no queue at all. Must visit lunch (off peak) spot for people...
