This is probably the best ramen I've had in narita so far of the 5 I have had.

I had great customer service there, unsure where the negativity came from on some reviews. Super nice people.

Ramen broth explanation said was taken from sardines and mackerel. Was skeptical but it was hardly even noticeable and actually gave the brother more complex flavors. Generous portion of meat and the noodles were the best style, slightly al dente. I'd prefer more noodles as a standard option though. I had spicy chicken Ramen I'd go extra spicy next time. Extra noodles. Add 2 eggs skip the gyoza.

Gyoza tasted freshly made although I can't corroborate that as I am not a gyoza snob. Ill eat prefrozen ones.

Only docked it 1 star because the bar seating is next to the door and the cold draft blows right in as people are in and out constantly. Its cold next to the door.

English menu. Order on iPad. Comes out...

Had a wholesome dinner at Takero Ramen! Super cute hole in-the-wall joint. Took us a while to spot the place as they’re doing facade works now and the scaffolding blocked our view.

I got the salt beef ramen special, and my partner got the spicy miso ramen special. We initially wanted the Tsukemen but it was out of stock - so sad :”( Anyway, we both added negi - yum! The salt beef one reminded me of pho - I wonder if that’s the inspiration behind it because they had some Vietnamese paraphernalia on the wall! The spicy miso one was really good and tasty.

The place serves free flow rice too - I imagine it’d be great especially with leftover tsukemen broth.

The music is also chill and the place is bright and spacious. The chef seems really nice and friendly too....

WOW. This might be one of the best ramen I’ve had during my whole Japan trip this time. I was staying at a hotel nearby and wanted one last ramen before leaving Japan. I ordered the salt beef ramen special after reading reviews and as someone who likes thicker broth base, I was shocked at how much I loved it!! Beef was tender, the broth was lighter but super flavorful and the noodles were SO good. It looks kind of handmade?? but i’m not sure if it is, very chewy, bouncy, wavy noodles. Very simple little spot but I’ll definitely be thinking about this ramen for a while.

P.S. The ramen special comes with seaweed and egg and more beef as well but I only remembered to take this photo halfway...
