This diamond in the ruff restaurant has everything a vegan, vegetarian or meat eater could want. You are greeted by the owner and chef who goes out of his way to see to it that you are satisfied. We arrived late in Narita and couldn’t find anything for my vegetarian husband to eat. While walking on the main street, we were just about to give up when we saw a sign that says Waka restaurant with vegetarian options. We walk down the narrow street and found that they were just about to close. The owner seeing our disappointment decided to make an exception and cook for us, keeping the restaurant open for another hour so that we can eat. The only thing is I read reviews about the staff speaking English, which I didn’t seem to experience apart from being handed an English menu.
