Worked up an appetite for this place considering the reviews and how Japan is know for the best steak. My entire food experience in Japan has been in aw at the high quality until the disappointment here at the Meat Stand.
We ordered the salad, their lamb set, garlic steak, and cheese rib.
Salad was nothing like the picture and taste like a fist full of salt.
The lamb came in a nice portable cooking stove thinly sliced with veggies but dried and tasteless.
The cheese short ribs were dried out and tough on the bone.
Last but not least the garlic steak wasn’t fresh, chewy, and tasteless.
We came in hungry and excited but the poor quality and taste of food in this place was a big disappointment. We had to count our loss and left most of the food uneaten.
We definitely don’t mind traveling and paying for good food. But this wasn't worth it. Wasn’t even worth trying to force the food down. We just paid and left. Like, cmon, how do you mess up salad? How does the name “Meat Stand” even stand here?
I don’t even write reviews like that, but the other reviews were such a fluke....
Read moreFantastic Japanese take on American food coming from an American whom visits Japan frequently.

When we told him we collect signs and found a large KIRIN beer sign in Japan, he ran out to grab us a promotional beer apron as a gift. Truly above and beyond service that exceeds anything you would expect in the US. Give them a visit on your...

When eating Asian Foods I believe one should drink the local Beer. The second meal was a nicely sized Porterhouse Steak grilled and spiced to perfection with vegetables and again Sapporo. Realy it was one of the nicest Steaks aI...
