I am seriously doubtful whether this restaurant considers personality when hiring its staff. In particular, a dark-skinned woman with long hair was extremely rude. Recently, since I had just paid my tuition, my Visa card could not be used, so I was looking at the menu while preparing to exchange Japanese yen. At that moment, the employee gave me a very disapproving look, clicked her tongue toward my face while I was reading the menu, and then walked back into the restaurant.

While I was still confused, a woman who seemed to be the manager came to assist me. I explained to her that my card could not be used for the reason above, and that I was checking the menu while preparing to exchange yen. But honestly, would it have been so difficult for that staff member to simply ask me?

Also, before that, I had asked if I could pay with U.S. dollars and was told no. Shouldn’t the employee at least have guessed there might be a reason for me looking at the menu carefully? Even if I hadn’t been planning to eat but was only browsing out of curiosity, such behavior is unacceptable. What, then, is the point of placing a menu at the entrance of the restaurant?

I swear I did not spend a long time there—just about one to two minutes at most—yet I was still treated with such rudeness. Considering that this restaurant is located in an airport and is likely visited frequently by foreign travelers in transit, having a staff member with such an attitude will only harm Japan’s image.

Horrible customer service. After reading the reviews, we decided to go here for the last meal of our Japan trip. Before ordering I specifically asked about the menu items listed under "roll" and whether they were hoso maki (thin roll) or futo maki (normal roll). The waitress very clearly said that no, they were not hoso maki, but normal-sized rolls. We were later presented with four... hoso maki rolls. When I mentioned it to the waitress who took our order (different one), she said in a condescending tone that we should have asked her and not the previous waitress šŸ˜†. We decided to stay and not make a scene, but we really should have. We asked a very simple question, were misinformed by the waitstaff, and subsequently disrespected. This is far from the treatment we have learned to expect from Japan. A sad way to end a wonderful trip. As for the food itself, it's good sushi, albeit slightly overpriced, but with this sort of treatment I would've been happier with a meal...

An amazing place to enjoy a last meal of fantastic sushi before leaving Japan. Although it is a bit expensive in my opinion, I still feel like the food was worth it. Each pieces was delicious and everything was fresh and tasty. I had the opportunity to sit at the counter seat and watching the 3 chefs working in unison was a show in itself. Each of them would prepare specific pieces and even without talking, the orders were completed at an incredible speed. The service was polite and welcoming as well which made the dining experience much more enjoyable. Please be aware that it does take time to prepare sushi on order so it usually takes around 20 minutes before your order is served. The waitress do confirm with you the time it might take before welcoming you inside the restaurant. Finally, the place was spacious and the interior decor really made me feel comfortable. Having the chefs in front of me and a great view of the airport runway on the side, it was an...
