Absolutely amazing. Went to this place after another review said it had vegan ramen. No name outside, just walk up the stairs. Service was great. Local guy helpful, Aussie guy very good. Was going to get vegan noodles until he suggested the alternative miso ramen (even checked with the chef that it did not have fish in it). Ordered: - edamame - garbage salad - miso ramen with seasoned egg. All very good, came out stuffed!! Beers flowing, be it smaller than I would expected for the price however, worth it! Good vide, busy place. Overheard to book, you have to either come in at 5pm and book, or just walk in and try your luck. Constant stream of people coming in.

Top level ramen, having eaten at Tokyo’s best ramen restaurants, including Michelin star, this is right up there. Ambiance was cosy and we got lucky with the bar stool at the front of the bar. You can reserve tables here. Will be back to try the gyozo which is suppôt be great. 4.8/5 stars

Thank you chef for making the spicy fried rice vegetarian, it was delicious and piping hot! It has excellent 鑊氣／ wok hei (caramelisation from frying in a very hot wok). I really enjoyed the fried rice and butter mushrooms. Will come back for sure.

Don’t bother booking as it seems to be hit and miss as to whether they actually seat you based on a booking. They may also sit you in the bar next door to eat Ramen on a couch. But then they won’t sit people who are waiting in that same area… it’s very confusing and seems like they just can’t manage bookings. The service is so erratic, some servers are polite and other are completely useless. The ramen is very average as are the sides. I...
