In my opinion they have the best coffee in all of Oita,Mainland Japan and even though they are Japanese they speak really good English . They have the best combination of coffee whiskey and brown sugar me and my husband have ever tried. This place is a craftsman who's dedicated to his craft and does roasting, brewing all by himself, with (presumably) his wife helping with snacks and serving. They have lots of beans to choose from. They can brew using pour over or vacuum pot. The interior transports you back to the 80s. From wood furniture to the intergrade amplifier and CD player. I wish they offered more pastries type of stuff and their toilet is not so vintage (60s?)

The beans are also roasted on-site. The shop owner and his wife are welcoming and generous. It was such a treat to be able to enjoy such exquisite coffee. We canโ€™t wait to come back for more.
