Our family all love their service they are very friendly and inviting. They have the best brown sugar and coffee we have ever had and we go to a lot of coffee shops. In my opinion they have the best coffee in all of Oita,Mainland Japan and even though they are Japanese they speak really good English . They have the best combination of coffee whiskey and brown sugar me and my husband have ever tried. For the people who took their own time to read this message out of a bunch of other messages thank you very much this place is the best bye.

This place is a craftsman who's dedicated to his craft and does roasting, brewing all by himself, with (presumably) his wife helping with snacks and serving. They have lots of beans to choose from. They can brew using pour over or vacuum pot. The interior transports you back to the 80s. From wood furniture to the intergrade amplifier and CD player. I wish they offered more pastries type of stuff and their toilet is not so vintage (60s?)

If you like coffee, this cafe is a must visit in Oita. Coffee is brewed the same way for more than 50 years using a vaccumm drip method resulting in depth of flavors. The beans are also roasted on-site. The shop owner and his wife are welcoming and generous. It was such a treat to be able to enjoy such exquisite coffee. We canโ€™t wait to come back for more.
