Came across this restaurant by accident, thought it would be interesting to go to a restaurant where the produce are grown by agriculture high school students. The place was busier than expected and fortunately we went early because it was completely packed soon after, so a reservation is recommended. The food was amazing. The appetizer was a stewed radish stew and the natural sweetness of the radish really shone through. We also ordered a deep fried radish, and it was very juicy inside with a crunch on the outside. The pork and cabbage stew was quite interesting as it was “peach pork” which was a specialty of the Okayama region, the cabbage was orange which I had never seen before. The nanban chicken was super amazing, it’s smothered in a house made tartar sauce and the chicken stayed super crunchy. I would also recommend the rice with raw egg as their eggs were the richest I had ever tasted. When they deliver the dishes they would also leave a little sign telling you which school produced the ingredients used in the dish. Also the portions are much bigger than expected. We sampled a variety of items from the menu - all were unique, well-seasoned, and delicious. Meats and vegetables were perfectly fried and grilled, and the tofu cheese dish was a delightful and unexpected surprise. Desserts were also unique and solid - we ended our multi-course meal with sesame pudding and baumkuchen with vanilla ice cream. Les produits sont frais et viennent des lycées agricoles de la préfecture d'Okayama, ils sont donc produits par les lycéens. L'ambiance est super, la nourriture est délicieuse, et le service formidable. Nous retenons tout particulièrement la gentillesse de Sakura-chan, notre serveuse deux soirs de suite, mais aussi l'illustratrice de tous les dessins du restaurant ! Et oui, nous y sommes allés deux soirs de suite pour pouvoir tester plein de plats différents. Nous recommandons ! Au plaisir...
