I visited this yakiniku restaurant based on its high review ratings, but personally found it somewhat overrated.

To be fair, the quality of the meat was decent—neither bad nor particularly exceptional. The server greeted us politely at first, but I couldn’t help but feel that the level of service may have been different compared to how local Japanese guests were treated. For example, my friend and were told that each person must order at least one drink, something that was not mentioned on the menu (at least not in English or anywhere visible). If this is a house rule, then fine—but it would be helpful, especially for foreign visitors, to have it clearly communicated.

What bothered me more was the billing issue. I had ordered two oolong teas, but was charged for three. When I pointed this out, the staff corrected it but offered no apology or even a simple “sumimasen”. While it could have been an honest mistake, the lack of acknowledgement or courtesy left a bad impression.

I can't understand why this restaurant has such a high rating. The only thing I found decent was the texture of the meat, but the price itself isn't cost-effective—it's a bit expensive (the portion of meat per person is small, costing around 7,000 yen per head).
