Visited on 28 March for dinner, around 6:30pm.
We came after reading good reviews on Google, but was told that the restaurant was full (filled with reservations) even for 2 pax, so we were prepared to leave. After talking to the male counter staff about making a reservation for the following night instead, he told us that if a customer doesn't come for their reservation, he will give us their seat. After 5 mins, we got seated.
The food was great - interesting style of teppan-sukiyaki which gave the meat much more fragrance than a typical sukiyaki. Don't miss the sukiyaki fried rice, which is like Gyudon on crack - super strong flavour, not for the faint hearted.
The service was also great, the staff are all friendly and proactive in helping you with the sukiyaki.
Overall, we had a great experience, and would definitely return to this place and recommend it to others.
They do incentivise customers to leave good ratings on Google Maps, so take reviews with a pinch of salt. But in my opinion, they are well worth the good reviews (I'm not getting any incentive for this review since I'm only writing it 1.5 weeks later).
Total damage for 2 pax: ~6500 JPY

Read moreWe went without a reservation on a Sunday evening but the staff were polite and we waited for only a short while before we got a table for 4. The staff speak good enough English to guide us through the menu, explain how to make the dipping sauce and how to make the soup base. The first set we ordered wasn’t enough so we added some extra beef. The beef was of really good quality as advertised. There were tofu, leeks, generous amounts of onions and rice noodles. We ordered extra udon which absorbed the sukiyaki soup and had a robust taste. The only thing we didn’t do was to make the dipping sauce as instructed as it involved raw egg, instead, added the raw egg to the sukiyaki soup - oishi! The ingredients for making the sukiyaki soup were placed at each table and we added them ourselves. It was nice to be in charge of adding as much sugar, soya sauce mixture and water according to...

Delicious! This was our first time with sukiyaki and they were super nice helping us figure out how to do this. They had an english menu, but i'll note that i think you gotta commit to one thing, sukiyaki (saute the meat in a cast iron pan) or shabu shabu (same thing but dipping in a hot pot ). The staff had enough english to convey how to do things along with pantomime. They were really nice.
The one order of meat was good enough for one person and two orders left us both stuffed.. by the end they brought out uson noodles to add to our pan sauce that we had created, and i was waddling out.
Being up on the 7th floor we had a great view of the city to...
