Ganko Tempozan — Restaurant in Osaka

We needed a place for lunch and we decided to go for the food court at Tempozan, near the Osaka Aquarium. The restaurant is on the 3rd floor in the food court area on the left. The sign is in Japanese, you will not see "Ganko" but it is the only restaurant offering sushi, not fried staff or meat. For us the place stood out because it seemed more neat than the others and also offered fresh fish We ordered Sushi Sets (without wasabi, this can be chosen when ordering) and it was an excellent choice. The order is placed via a tablet, with the option to choose english from the app menu, a great advantage because otherwise it is impossible to obtain informations about the food, the staff does not speak english. The service was quick (6 minutes since placing the order), the fish was very fresh and the add-ons quite tasty. I had lunch here on a Sunday afternoon at midday. I waited a very short amount of time to be seated and was shown to my table by very friendly staff. It is a family friendly establishment so the staff were very accomodating to children and young families. Patrons looking for somewhere silent like a library should probably look elsewhere. My dish came out after about 20 minutes which is a bit of a wait but I was expecting this as I ordered handmade nigiri. The food was delicious. The food tasted very fresh and full of flavour. The staff was super rude. It felt like he was discriminating us for being foreigners. The food was average, and too expensive. The staff even misunderstood us with the order (and we ordered in Japanese, fyi) , and as the result we have to pay an extra serving, because we couldn't cancel it.
