Great little ramen shop, wandered by just as they were opening on a Saturday morning. Simple menu, but done beautifully. I ordered the tonkotsu with extra egg and the missus had the miso ramen with extra vegetables and a side of gyoza. Everything was fantastic and incredibly well priced too. The staff spoke a little English and ordering was no issue with a little help from Google translator for the menu 😉 Make sure to give this place a try if you're in the area!

The staff was super friendly and patient with us when making our orders. I wish we had better Japanese language skills so we could have talked some sports with the one of the cooks. I really appreciated the effort made to communicate. Food was delicious and a good price. Music and atmosphere were chill. Oh and we finally found a place with some decent sized beer glasses.

始めにですが最近のgoogle mapは、投稿を公開しない事が有ります。 （ただログイン状態なら自分の投稿は確認は出来ます。） 事実でもネガティブな事を具体的に書くほどその傾向が強いです。 （この投稿は問題無いと思いますが。） google mapに各グルメサイトがリンクされるように成ってから特にです。 （なので最近は某グルメサイトと信頼性は特に変わらないかも？） あと先ほど投稿する時にレビューしようとしている店の、レビューの信頼性をたずねるアンケートが有りました。 （最近は評価数が片手ほども無いアカウントの明らかなステマが増えていますから。） この辺を通りかかった時に気に成っていて、別の店で食べたラーメンにいまいち満足出来なかったので、以前見たレビューの取り合えず美味しいと言うのを見ていたので急遽こちらに寄りました。 確かここは以前は天満の有名らしい店で勤務していた人のラーメン屋で、一度ですが食べた事が有ります。 昼間はわかりませんが夜に行ったせいか店の雰囲気もですが、メニューも客層もラーメン屋と言うより居酒屋です。 今回は無難に豚骨ラーメンにしましたが、匂いこそ本場ほどは強くないですが、スープの味と食感は宇部ラーメンです。 （因みに博多でも豚骨ラーメンを食べた事が有りますが、どこも同じような感じと言うわ訳では無かったです。） 美味しいのと同時に懐かしいと思いました。 （以前は大阪にも一久ラーメンが有ったらしいです。） またコスパも今の時期としては割と良い方だと思います。 （ただ立地も関係していると思います。） ただ夜はラーメンだけ目的なら次回も行くにはちょっと気を使います。 （居酒屋としての利用ならお通しが有るのかわかりませんが・・・）

We had the warmest welcome when we stumbled upon this gorgeous, atmospheric local restaurant. From the kindness of the patron who - sitting outside - took the trouble to welcome us in and ask for the English menu. To the staff, including our very kind patient waitress, the chef and perhaps the owner (who handmakes his own gyoza - chargrilled deliciousness). The red ramen - spicy - and the ramen with black garlic for deep mushroomy umami were both a highlight. Everything was warmth and welcome in this bijou establishment and we passed a very happy dinner at a small table on woooden benches feeling...
