I am nit sure about the term "hidden gem" because often gets tossed around too casually, usually just to grab attention. But when it comes to this ramen spot in Osaka, it couldn’t be more fitting. Located on the fourth floor of an unnoticed building in a quieter corner of the city, this place feels like a secret worth discovering.
Agie and I have become somewhat of halal ramen enthusiast, having tried our fair share of bowls all across Japan. We’ve come across plenty of spots that are fine for one-time visits, but this place? It’s on another level. The ramen here is honestly some of the best we’ve had, without a doubt. It’s that kind of place where you finish your meal and immediately start planning your next visit—rare in a city full of dining options.
What’s even better is that the prices are incredibly reasonable, especially in Osaka. We tried the spicy ramen, crispy chicken wings, karaage rice, and wagyu rice bowl. Every dish was executed perfectly. We really love it.
The only minor downside—if you can even call it that—is that the restaurant is run by one person who is juggling everything from cooking to serving. As a result, she’s always hustling, so don’t expect long chats or personalized service.
If you're after an authentic, satisfying, and reasonably priced halal ramen experience in Osaka, this place is...
Read moreThe place was quite tiny, and the kitchen was very close to the seating area. It mainly serves non-vegetarian food, so if you’re a vegetarian or Hindu, the environment can feel quite suffocating. The steam and aroma from the kitchen made the air heavy with the smell of beef and chicken, which was uncomfortable for me.
The food itself was decent — not bad, but not something I’d come back for. The ambience, however, was too congested for me to enjoy the meal properly. I actually felt I couldn’t breathe comfortably.
On the positive side, the owner and staff were very kind and polite. Just note that it’s cash only, which can be a bit inconvenient.
Overall, maybe non-vegetarians might enjoy it since it has good reviews, but I wouldn’t recommend it for...
Read moreWe discovered this place on Instagram and decided to try it out because it's halal - and we're so glad we did! The food was absolutely amazing, and the service was even better. It went way above our expectations.
We tried three different types of ramen and the fried chicken, and everything was exceptional. The spicy and non-spicy wagyu ramen both had incredible flavor, with the wagyu perfectly crispy and tender. We also had the vegetable ramen, which was packed with a variety of fresh and delicious vegetables.
The staff were incredibly kind and generous, making the whole experience even more enjoyable.
Overall, it was an amazing experience from start to finish, and we highly recommend it to anyone - especially if you're looking for delicious...
