This is my first visit to Osaka, and I am extremely disappointed that my experience has been overshadowed by a deeply unacceptable stay at your property.
We arrived at around 7:00 PM to find no staff at the entrance. Instead, we were required to scan a QR code on a dark street to check in—this process demanded uploading a passport photo (a highly sensitive document) in an unsafe environment surrounded by homeless individuals. There was no prior email, message, or instructions explaining this process, nor any emergency contact information in case of check-in issues. If a guest’s phone is dead upon arrival, it would be impossible to enter the property.
Upon entering our room, the problems worsened: • The room smelled strongly of body odour and cigarettes. • The wall had visible oil stains (or other unhygienic marks). • The shower ventilation was covered in dust and cobwebs. • The bathroom, in a room meant for four guests, had only two towel hooks. • The Wi-Fi connection was unreliable and extremely weak.
This is unacceptable for any standard of accommodation, let alone one booked through a major platform like Expedia. We are now actively searching for alternative lodging. We have already contacted Expedia, but they have been unable to reach the property manager and have advised us to wait 1–2 days. This delay is unreasonable and leaves us stranded in unsafe and uncomfortable conditions.
We request the following immediately: Urgent relocation to a suitable alternative property at no extra cost. Full refund for the booking due to the unacceptable conditions and lack of service. Immediate investigation into the check-in process and hygiene standards at this property.
Please treat this matter as urgent—we expect a...
Read moreHonestly it was an amazing experience at this hotel! All of the staff here are absolutely amazing and this hotel is well kept! While the location isn’t the nicest it’s super helpful that many train stations are super close in walking distance so your able to go anywhere you would like easily. Staying here was still super worth it because the people are genuine people that work super hard and will do everything with a smile and will help you with any questions you would like. I would like to give a shoutout to a few workers named Rikako and Eri because I got to speak with them the most and they helped with all of the troubles we had with the weather in Okinawa and having to stay longer. They never made it seem like it was a problem and would always help figure it out how they could help us the best way possible. Words can’t explain my gratitude for these workers here day in and out for all of the hard work they put into this hotel! Thank you all!!! 😊😊😊 P.S For those coffee lover they have a deal for when you wake up in the morning to get an amazing cup of coffee and a bread of your choice for only 300 yen. Highly...
Read moreI would not recommend you to book this hotel if you are looking for a clean and friendly area. The area where the hotel was located is pretty old, and the street near the hotel are full of garbage and homeless people. Those are not even the biggest problem. One day morning when my group is walking to the subway station, there was a man who show middle finger to us… I can’t just ignore it so I show it back. But honestly after I did it, I was a bit worried about the man will start a fight, but thankfully he didn’t have the courageous to do so. However this is definitely not welcoming and made me feel unsafe. (By the way we are traveling in a group of three and are all female, which made us feel even more uncomfortable with the location)
The hotel room is a bit tiny, we don’t really have place to open our luggage, but it wasn’t a big deal. And I wish the room can be cleaner though, because there was a lot of dust on the bed board that is not covered by the mattress. Although we don’t see the staff of the hotels often (since they are only at the front desk for a short period of time) but they are nice people and have...
