I booked this hotel through Agoda and stayed for two nights, checking in on October 2nd at 10 PM and checking out on October 4th. After checking in, I discovered that trains pass by every 5–10 minutes, and each time the whole room shook with noise and vibration. Staying in such a place really ruins the travel experience. I reported this to the front desk and requested a room change since I was staying for two nights, but they refused to let me switch. I think people should reconsider staying at this hotel — it’s better to spend a bit more money on a nicer place. The train noise continued until around 1 AM, making it impossible to get proper rest. The soundproofing is also very poor. The guest in the room next to mine was snoring extremely loudly, and I could clearly hear it from my room. Also, even though I booked a non-smoking room, each floor has designated smoking areas outside, so the hallways smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. If you use the bathroom ventilation fan, the smoke drifts into the room. Finally, regarding safety — I was traveling alone as a woman, and when I walked outside at night, I saw homeless people and drunk people nearby. The surroundings of the hotel felt a bit unsafe and scary at night.I think this hotel is only at a two-star level, not three-star!Next time I come to Japan, I definitely won’t...

Yes, as the staff comments point out, it is very close to train lines. However, you will probably be on heightened mugging alert as you walk to and from the stations. And as some of the genuine reviews here note, the train (and other) noise is unreasonably loud in the rooms.
You can find much better for not too much more, in safer and less...
