Happiness Café in Universal Studios Japan is a must-visit spot if you’re a fan of unique, themed dining experiences. All the dishes are creatively crafted and designed to look like Minion characters, making the entire meal as fun as it is delicious. We ordered chicken, bacon, a burger, a kiddie meal, and desserts—and everything exceeded our expectations.
Despite the long line, the queue moved steadily, and after about 20 minutes, we were seated comfortably. Ordering is convenient too—you can use the mobile app or the self-service kiosks inside the café. Once you’ve paid, you simply wait for your table and present your receipt to claim your food.
What really stood out is that the food here is far superior to most other restaurants inside Universal Studios Japan. The quality, presentation, and overall experience made it worth every minute of waiting.
Highly recommended for families, friends, and anyone looking for a joyful dining experience...
Read moreThis cute minion themed cafe felt sort of similar to a high school cafeteria style of dinning. You first queue up and order through a QR code and then pay at the register at the front. After placing your receipt on a tray, the staff will place your meal onto your tray.

My personal favorite was the fried chicken but the curry was also quite tasty. I was honestly surprised that the food tasted as good as they looked. However, the only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the cold corn soup that came with the...
Read moreIt was a hot day in Osaka today so we stopped by the Happiness cafe just as they opened for the day.
Ordered the Minion burger meal. Costs ¥2,100 and was served with a small portion of fries, a handful of onion rings, a salad and free refills at the drink bar.
The burger came in the form of a minion and was surprisingly tasty. One could argue that the fries and onion ring sides are small in size but they were both tasty and the overall size of the portion was good.
The drink bar offered a good selection of soda, tea and coffee. With a bathroom close by, be sure to use that all you can drink deal!
Like with many places at an amusement park, it can get quite loud at peak hours as there are many families visiting, especially as it gets nearer to lunch time. Just something to...
