I am an overseas traveler, visiting Osaka for the first time — and also my first time at Universal Studios Japan. I must say, my experience at SAIDO Restaurant was absolutely outstanding! After spending most of the day exploring the park, by around 3 PM I was extremely hungry. When I arrived at SAIDO, the staff at the entrance warmly waved to welcome me, creating an immediate feeling of comfort and friendliness. Inside, the restaurant was immaculately clean and organized, which made me feel at ease right away. After sitting down, I found the menu impressively diverse. What amazed me most were two things: first, the Japanese set meals here were not only delicious but also made with very fresh ingredients — dishes like seared beef, sashimi, and sushi were exceptionally tasty, completely breaking the stereotype that “theme park food is just average”; second, the pricing was very reasonable — enjoying a full, high-quality meal for about 4,000 yen per person inside a major theme park truly moved me. Another highlight was the service. About three or four staff members attended to us with sincere warmth and thoughtful care. They even recommended an excellent non-alcoholic yuzu drink that we absolutely loved. Even though it was Sunday, April 27th — a typically crowded day — the restaurant was spacious and comfortable, without feeling cramped at all. All in all, SAIDO left a deep impression on me with its environment, food, prices, and service. I highly, highly recommend it to anyone visiting Universal...
Read moreWent to Universal Studios Japan and visited this resto which was having a collab event with Jujutsu Kaisen with my sis . . We ordered Hallow Purple Meal and Salmon! Tuna Mayo! Kelp!
The Hollow Purple Meal was a set symbolising Gojo sensei. It included steak, fried sea bass, soy-braised pork, tuna, amberjack and scallop sashimi, shrimp, tempura, pickles, etc. The sashimi was fresh and meaty, esp the tuna. The steak was tender and well-seasoned too. The dish looked exquisite and liked how the dark circle plate represented Gojo sensei's hollow purple.
The Salmon! Tuna Mayo! Kelp! was actually green tea dessert with kumquat, which symbolised Inumaki. Appreciated the delicate plating. The matcha mousse was smooth and tasted bittersweet, and the matcha ice cream elevated its sweetness. . With the help of the staff, you were able to take pics with Gojo sensei. Being passionate and energetic, the staff fully immersed themselves into the Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technique College. As a jujutsu kaisen fans, I felt...
Read moreEnjoyed the special Demon Slayer lunch here yesterday with some friends. We were pretty impressed with the service and the food. The ladies working here were so wonderful. The food was better than we thought it would be. Our expectations were low since it was in a theme park, but it was actually pretty good. They also have special drinks and if you order one of the special drinks, you get a free coaster. The coaster is plastic and actually pretty nice. It’s a little pricey, but that’s to be expected in a theme park so we were okay with it. They start accepting reservations at 0900. We were told we had to go to the restaurant at 0900 (or anytime after that) to make reservations. It’s all done through a QR code, but it’s...
