Let me start off by saying DON’T EAT HERE.
I’ll break down why exactly I say this in three categories.
The food:
The food here is essentially flavourless, me and my partner split three different curries all three were bland AF. Seriously the food wasn’t disgusting but it definitely lacked any flavour or spice, it was incredibly disappointing. The Naan bread looked good but was once again flavourless even with garlic butter. Simply put the food has no taste and feels like they added food colouring instead of spices.
The service:
We came into the restaurant and were escorted to a table where we waited for approximately 15 minutes before anyone came over to take our order for both food and drinks. The server took our order and then came back 15 minutes later to inform us that our selection was invalid and that we had to change our order or pay extra to get what we initially ordered, it seemed like price gouging in the weirdest fashion and set the mood for a bad experience however I promise you that I kept an objective mind when it came to the food (The food would’ve still sucked even if the service was amazing).
Price/portions:
The food advertised on the menu has drastically exaggerated portions to what we actually received, a super shady was of doing business and incredibly frustrating, I only wish I took photos to show you a comparison. It felt as though we had been scammed and the strangers sitting across from us all agreed and we all had a good laugh it was truly comical. Additionally many items included in the meal set were not received leaving us wondering if they forgot or were doing it intentionally.
All that being said I would advise you to stay clear of this restaurant and try one of the many other Indian restaurants within...
Read moreI visited this Indian restaurant in Osaka and was extremely disappointed with the food quality, especially the curry items. All the curries tasted exactly the same, as if the same curry paste was used for every dish. We ordered a thali set, and the quantity of curry served in the thali was extremely poor. On top of that, the kebabs were not fresh at all, which was very disappointing.
While the service was warm and the staff were humble, in any restaurant, food is the main attraction — and when it completely lacks flavor, authenticity, and freshness, even good service cannot make up for it. Sadly, it felt like every penny spent was a waste.
After posting my review, the restaurant responded saying that I should inform them of my taste preferences in advance. Unfortunately, there is no option to reply to their response on Google, so I want to make it clear here: It is not the customer’s responsibility to explain their taste preferences beforehand. A good restaurant should consistently serve food that meets basic standards of quality and authenticity. Customers come to enjoy a well-prepared meal, not to guide the kitchen on how to cook. I sincerely hope the management takes this feedback seriously and focuses on improving the food quality for future guests, rather than expecting customers to adjust to their kitchen’s...
