551 Horai Namba Walk Store — Local services in Osaka

Always a line at 551 Horai so had to check out the hype. First stumbled upon in Shin Osaka Train station but the line was way too long but not too long before we found another 551. For my taste i felt the bao and dim sims to be more mushy than i would have liked. Also seems like both the bao and dim sims share the same fillings. Delectable pork buns. Only had this as a snack but didn't try the other things like the siu mai and the other rice dishes with meat and veggies which were on offer so can't comment on those although everything in the display looked delicious. The buns itself were generously filled and best eaten hot especially during the colder months in Osaka....

I don’t know why there is such a long line. There is literally nothing remarkable about the dim sum, it’s below average. Bbq pork buns are worse than 7-11. Texture of the siu mai is tough.
