This shop is about 5 min walk away from the station. Only 13 seating. The toilet is clean and cute, but no hand bidet. They dun have a hand wash basin. We ordered 4 dishes from their menu, steam egg constant n lump of pork ramen, steamed egg custard and cheese Ramen, spicy hot ramen with 10 chillies sign and sliced pork ramen...just to try out, price is around 1200 to 1700 being the chillies the most expensive. Behind the shop is a welding store, the owner weld there when he is free. Well, the welding smoke actually spoilt the environment. Spicy noodle is good, spicy, but I dun like the chilli seeds, maybe he should blended it. The eggs is smooth,, we like it. Maybe can try once, portion is not very big for the price you pay. I think this shop had been over sensationalized by tourist.
Expensive due to small portion of ramen, but very generous...

The broth was unique and peppery with a nice depth without being overly heavy, the pork was delicious and the marinade on it was amazing. My partner and I both very happily polished off out meals and were on our way.
The place is small, but its cute and nicely decorated, the chef was kind and quiet but not unpleasant, left plenty of room for us to enjoy ourselves at our own pace but feel welcome as well.
Highly recommend if you're looking for a nice bowl of hot ramen after a day at...

The menu is accessible, featuring English and Japanese descriptions with pictures. If you're in the area, Tanchou is definitely worth a visit, especially to try more of their authentic...
