Takoyaki Okoku — Restaurant in Osaka

Made a reservation and was quite late to arrive, but was able to get a seat for my family of 2+3. It was a new and fun experience for us, and our first proper meal in Osaka, and actually our whole Japan trip. I'm not usually a big fan of takoyaki, but this was quite fun and yummy. There were many toppings to choose from, and a 1 hour time limit to make as many takoyaki as you can. We only managed 2x20 as we were all newbies and wanted to make sure everything was properly cooked. After dinner, we tried to get a taxi but was not able to as it was late and the tempozan had already closed, so we went back to ask where we could get a taxi. The service is quick and efficient. We were able to order through a qr code. Inside it feels like a chill hideout for your best friends. There are signatures and photos of friends having a good time. It's comfortable and authentic.

The food was very delicious and quite affordable. We got the onion takoyaki and the rock salt takoyaki. Both were cooked to perfection.
