Best place ever! Meals based on your favorite picture book classics such as The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Swimmy, Curious George and Where the wild things are. The cafeteria holds an amazing picture book collection organized in different categories, so if you're interested in illustration this is an important research venue.
If you don't speak Japanese it could be kind of troublesome, but worry not. Here's some advice:
When you get there the staff will ask you how many persons will eat. Then they will give you a ticket for the current or the next available turn.
Once you are in your table you'll find the menu inside a wooden door. (The menu is only in Japanese, so, if you don't speak this language just go for it and have fun.)
You'll have to go to a small machine that stands in front of the kitchen. Here you'll find the name and price of each meal. Put the money inside first and then a green tick mark will glow over the meals that are available.
Push the button and give the ticket to the staff. Then just wait while you read some very beautiful books!
