Glad I found and tried this, instead of the nearby insta famous cafe, which has tourists queuing already before the shop opens. I was the first, and right after the shop opened, it's flocked by locals, and full after 30mins. People started to wait at the outside seating. This is on a Sunday. The morning plate is not a big portion, which is great for me, flavorful, with lots of vegetables. I pass by this café often but only recently discovered that they serve carrot cake—and I’m so glad I did!

Most carrot cakes I’ve tried before are dry and crumbly, but this one is moist and flavorful. I also like that there’s some different textures with some nuts, and some random pockets of this wonderful sweet cinnamon paste.
