There was an English menu available and the waitress was very kind and patient with us not speaking Japanese. The food was amazing and the chef was very sweet! When you first arrive it looks like it may be closed but don’t be scared to go under the banner. The fish is so fresh and prepared perfectly any dish would be great, for a drink I recommend the Yuzu-Shu (soda) it’s made with sake and kinda tastes like sprite but citrus instead of lemon. I loved the sushi here so much I took my family back when they visited Osaka. I hyped it up and really was excited to share with them. Despite this, we (and another group of Americans) were discriminated against and made to wait over 30 minutes while they allowed Japanese people to enter. Ordered a few of their recommended dishes - Uni, Minced tuna w/ scallions, fatty tuna
Most of the dishes were disappointing. The seaweed from the rolls were mushy, 3 x 6 pieces roll squeezed on one plate. However the medium fatty tuna and chawanmushi was pretty good.
The uni had a very bad colour and fishy taste as you can see in the photo.
Wouldn’t exactly recommend this place if you want a tasty sushi experience in Japan as it was quite pricey, nearly 8000 yen for 2 person and the quality wasn’t the best.
