Overall a very poor experience. Lots of other options around that will probably provide better service and food. Gave us one plate of raw cabbage as an “appetizer” that we didn’t ask for and then charged us 638 yen for 2 appetizers on the bill. When asking the breakdown for the bill, they only explained the items we ordered. However we noticed that there were 2 additional items on the bill. We had to pull out our phones to translate it, when only then they finally explained that the charge is for the cabbage/ a seat cover which is not explained at any time. I assume since we are tourists, the server said that it is Japanese culture to do so, however at all of the other restaurants in japan we have visited this has never happened.

The server forgot about half of our order and we had to ask 45 minutes later where it is.

The udon noodles were full of pieces of fat and the skewers were below average. The octopus was also way overdone.

I guess all of the good reviews come from the fact that they give out free skewers for a...

Hidden Gem of Osaka! 💎

You absolutely have to try this place! We ended up eating here every single night of our stay, that’s how incredible the food and atmosphere were. Without a doubt, some of the best meals we’ve ever had, and the service made it even more unforgettable.

Here are a few items you must try:

Draft beer – go for the large size, trust us.

Kobe beef with rice, kimchi, and miso soup – this dish is truly out of this world. We tried Kobe beef in the city center too, but nothing came close to the melt-in-your-mouth experience here.

Fried shrimp – perfectly crispy; ask for a lemon on the side. Pair it with some edamame for the perfect combo.

We’ll be dreaming about this place for years to come. Thank you to the amazing staff for making our time in Osaka so special, we can’t wait to return.

Arigatou gozaimasu!...
