This was my first time in Osaka. Tsujita, one of the most famous tsukemen shops in Japan, has just opened a store a minute's walk from Higobashi subway station, so I went right away. I ordered the "Rich Ajitama Tsukemen" and looked ahead, and Tsujita's โHow to eat Tsujitaโs Tsukemenโ caught my eye. [How to eat Tsujitaโs Tsukemen] -First, eat it as is without adding citrus sudachi or black โshichimiโ which is seven-flavor chili pepper. -After eating one-third of the noodles, squeeze citrus sudachi on the noodles, mix well, and eat. -Then, sprinkle black shichimi on the remaining one-third of the noodles and eat. -We will have an additional soup at the end, so please lift the soup bowl and ask a staff member for it. By the time I finished reading, the tsukemen was served. This is tsukemen, and it's consistently delicious.
