Umeda Food Hall — Restaurant in Osaka

Quite a big food hall as mentioned by many, and definitely a great hideout for the wet weather!

Food was okay, the Okonomiyaki was decent and takoyaki too, nothing to shout about.

That said, the free water dispenser was a great touch and again, the emphasis on sorting trash was displayed here in the food hall when returning the trays and trash.

A staff member here came up to me and asked me if I was Japanese and what I was doing there before telling me that I can’t sit there if I don’t buy anything. A really great, convenient food hall that's really easy to get to from the station. There are a lot of good food options available such as tempura, okonomiyaki and ramen.

There is plenty of seating even during peak times. The seating area is really clean and well maintained, with free water available.
