Came for dinner about an hour and half before closing. I ordered a couple of sashimi sets and they were on the expensive side, very small, but pretty good. The cuts and slices were very similar and it was easy to tell what each fish was. I had engawa, tai, hirame, maguro, and aoriika on one set, and what seemed to be an akami set. The fish did seem to be barely thawed, and the service was on the slow side, but I think that must be because I ordered and ate so late, the chef must have had to break out newer fish. Sorry about that~! Had some very flavorful daiginjo sake, it got to me a bit so I rounded out the meal with a bit of anago and the kani congee. The manager who is mid aged man, speaks English well, well supported and nice. I am a person who doesn't write review but I am writing this message due to his kindness. Food was nice. Especially, his support was excellent. Other staff as well. I went there under my hotel promotion but I will definitely visit there next time again. Thank to manager. Don't eat inside the park and come here instead! Much better quality food for a much better price. You are greeted with fresh and cold green tea which is refillable for free. For 900 yen i got beautifully crisp tempura over rice and a bowl of udon soup. The udon was flavourful and chewy. The restaurant is pretty large for Japanese size and was pretty empty at lunchtime. We were very happy to have an aircon break in a relaxed setting, the good food was a bonus. Restaurants in the park at lunchtime can have a 60 minute wait...
