Universal Studios Arch Gate (JR Side) — Attraction in Osaka

Poorly run, OLD looking park with rough and poorly themed rides. Backdrop and the Demon Slayer VR rides are the only saving graces of this place. Went for Super Nintendo World, but had to leave the area within minutes because the crowds were ruining the experience and inducing panic attacks. OVERPRICED food and merch. For the same price as tickets and 3 DPAs for two people at DisneySea, I got one ticket and 4 express passes here. Tokyo Disney merch is between 1/2 to 2/3 the price of the merch at this park, and the food at DisneySea was much better in quality (while still being theme park food), easier to purchase with mobile order, and much cheaper. Even the vending machines are a rip off…felt very much like I had walked into a theme park in America in terms of price gouging. In a country that otherwise has relatively fair pricing, this felt like a gross cash grab at every corner. Avoid if you value your time on an international trip. Gates open at 7:45am most of the time. I’d advise getting here around 7-7:30am. We arrived at 7:30 and were relatively close. Once the gates opened it took 25 mins to get in!

You can walk to Nintendo world and get there first usually. Make sure you get an e pass for timed entry if you want to make sure you guaranteed that spot inside!

They check bags for food and drinks but they don’t really mind snacks. We had protein bars inside our and they were cool with it!
