We visited the area on a Tuesday and I think most of the soba places in the area rested on Tuesday. So a lot of them were closed and while searching for places to eat, we came across this that was open.

However I think we weren’t their target customer, when we entered, they asked if we had reservations, or with any tour groups, or recommended by any tour guides. It gave me the impression that walk in customers weren’t expected.

Anyway the restaurant is relatively simple and spacious. When you enter you have to remove your shoes. And they will bring you to your seats. The seats here are the kind where instead of sitting crossed legged, you can put you legs into the square space under the table.

They sat us in the communal dining room where we shared a long table with 2 groups of other customers. When I stepped out to use the toilet, I noticed that there were other rooms of similar layout and I suppose they were designed like that to host big groups of tourists from those big tour buses.

The food here typically comes in set meals, and most of them are on the steeper side in terms of price - $40-50 is the normal range for those with eel or meat that you grill, however there are cheaper options for tonkatsu etc that range from $15-25 per set.

Most notably was the fact that they had and offering of bear paw. The photo definitely looked like the shape of a bear paw, putting aside all other questions, if you want to try it, be prepared to shell out a pretty penny, it...

Get scam to come this place , people who see this message pls don’t come here. You will get scam that the price at here is double or triple than outside. Rude and poor attitude at here the tour guide can get 20% commission and you won’t see any Japanese at here. When asking for receipt they just tear off the logo and give me which I have no idea why they do this. Probably scare me report it. This gonna be worst...

This place is a scam, all the food is SUPER overpriced. All the tourist guide will recommend you this place as they get a commission from your money. So they try to change your route plan to get you to eat at places where they get commission. Very...

The food here is super expensive, ordered the cheapest one which already cost ¥1500 +10% tax, other food from ¥2400 onwards.

Like a fast food place. They have great variety of food but very average taste. Service is not good in Japan standard.
