Unpleasant Experience - Think Twice Before Visiting

I've felt compelled to leave a review before, but this time is an exception. I'm not sure if the owner is into some kind of racial discrimination, but anyone thinking of dropping by should be extra careful. Although I have to admit, the decor was pretty cool. Downstairs was empty, and as you head upstairs, you get stuck at the stairwell. There were empty seats, but for some reason, you're not allowed to sit. I politely asked in Japanese how long the wait might be, and instead of a straightforward answer, the owner scolded me for asking and refused to respond to this simple question. Very very underrated and underpriced place for how high quality everything is!!!

Matcha latte is the BEST I’ve ever had in my life So much better than Starbucks or Sarutahiko or just anywhere else..!!! The balance between matcha and milk is just pure harmony..the milk and cream must have been from Hokkaido to have such pungency yet subtly sweet flavor

The coffee is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING too So smooth and rich with a sweet aftertaste There’s a rustic, traditional taste to it too

The cafe is on the second floor of an old building, and once you step inside it really feels like you’ve been transported back in time 100 years.

The two owners are elderly, and take their time. It took 20 minutes for them to take our order, and another 30 for the drinks to come out. We didn’t mind - the music and atmosphere was really relaxing. It’s a slow and restful experience, not a place for those who are trying to get a coffee and go.
