①Restaurant Features Ramen restaurant about 10 minutes from Otaru station. The interior of the restaurant is larger than the exterior with tables, a small area, and a counter. ② How to order Choose either chicken or pork bone soup, and a combination of soy sauce, salt, or miso seasoning. Because of the importance of the balance between the soup and the noodles, large portions of noodles are not available. ③Payment Pay at the cash register in the center of the restaurant after eating. Cash only.

◎Chashu-men (chicken soup, soy sauce flavor) The soup is made from Rausu kelp, dried shiitake mushrooms, chicken bones, and horse mackerel. The noodles are homemade and very firm, so they are well mixed with the soup and are very satisfying to eat. The roast pork is seasoned with a strong flavor and is a delicious accent to...

So this is one of the few places open in early morning around 7-8. The morning ramen, so-called 'asa-ra' here, has a neat flavor, not too heavy nor too salty. It was pretty satisfying after the continuous drinking the night before. Easy on stomach, addictive flavor... there's only one option of soy sauce ramen but it's only 500yen. It's extremely cost efficient. It seems like more ramen places have opened in otaru in the last couple years, but this plsce is one of the legit ones you want to grab in the early morning before hitting the road. Make sure you check the operation hours, because it's 7-8:45 on Friday - Sunday. Normal operation hours apply for lunch and dinner. It was nice to see how they make their own noodles, as it's originally a noodle...

amazing soup base, and the best ive tried but frustratingly let down by the lack of options…you cannot order extra charsu and you have to make do with just the tiny pieces they offer. The charsu is very tasty but it’s just not enough quantity and the whole bowl seems like as if i am eating a bowl of noodles with a tiny bit of meat. Also the noodles were too soft and mushy so there should be an option to have them firmer. i want to go back just to drink the pork salt soup but that’s all...
