We visited this place to have a couple of minutes of rest before heading to the observatory deck , while ordering my coffee, the cashier mentioned that I still need one order because "1 order each person" since we're two, so I need to order 1 more, and also they don't accept suica card, pasmo and other IC cards.
Better to have your coffee in Starbucks or any other coffeeshops around Otaru metro, that doesn't force you to order per person. We are really disappointed.

Given the combination of bad service and subpar drinks, I would not recommend this place to any tourists visiting Otaru. There are definitely better options...

Anyways I went with a friend who was having french press for the first time, and it was fun smelling the aroma. We spent 2 hours talking there and it has good ambience. In coffee beans they had only 3 options, Ethiopia, Costa Rica...
