I was walking outside with heavy snow in the middle of nowhere, found this Coco branch, and decided to enter for dinner. The young lady at the counter was very courteous and did a fantastic service. I'm a single person entering, they did not rush me to the bar seat, but instead offered me to the bigger table of 4 next to the window view, which is unusual as by the book Japanese would usually rush you to bar seat even the whole restaurant is empty. This little touch made me satisfied with the service. The ordering was very smooth as they had a multi language menu, and the food served was big according to my taste. I visited this place while walking around Otaru looking for dinner. It's a no frills Japanese chain service different kind of curry. You can choose the amount of rice, type of curry, and the spiciness of the sauce.

You'll be seated, and once you're ready to order, ring the bell on your table. Someone will come and get your order. I ordered the cheese filled burger curry. It was so delicious. I ordered spiciness level 3 and it was just right for might taste.

The service was prompt and the waitress was courteous. The price is very reasonable and won't break your bank. Overall very satisfied and will come back again...

This curry was delicious and the website confirms it is vegan! I like getting it with extra rice so I can have more rice to curry ratio. Normal spice level is perfect for me but you can pay more for more spice. I love how customizable the dishes are in their size and spice level and ingredients.
