Operated by the Saga Prefecture, the restaurant is located at the highest level of the Saga Prefectural Office Building with a panoramic view of Saga city.
We made a reservation for a 6000-yen course by our friend in Japan by phone a few days before we visit there. We arrived at 6:30 p.m. and were lucky to catch the magic hour of the sunset, which is quite a view.
The staff is very nice and motivated and is worth the reputation of the public servant of Saga Prefecture.
The dishes are in Japanese-western fusion style with above-average tastes. The main dish of Saga Wagyu steak is very rich in beef flavor and is not as oily as Wagyu of other prefectures. We chose to have medium for the steak, but it might be better to try medium-rare for a softer and more juicy texture.
The a-la-carte menu is with limited choices of Wagyu, pork, chicken and seafood dishes and the drink menu is with a variety of alcoholic beverages, as there is a bar in the restaurant.
Guests can park the car at the underground carpark for free, where the entrance is at the front of the office building and the carpark is connected with the restaurant with an elevator. For parking over two hours, it is needed to visit the guard office at the ground floor for scanning the parking card before leaving.
We thank you for the wonderful night...

But if you are looking for quality food, you're better off picking up some frozen food from the FamilyMart located in the same building. The food was prepared without seasoning, and the sauces on the dishes were obviously straight out of the bottle. On top of that, the rice was tacky and almost beige. Clearly bottom of the pot. When calling for a waiter to come to the table, there was no response. We ended up not even bothering to wait for the dessert and left paying in full. It was clear that we were dissatisfied yet the staff didn't even enquire if there was a problem when we paid. Will never go back...
Read moreExcellent view of Saga at night Credit Card +Free parking lot a little pricey and the food sizes are small
This restaurant has one of the best night views of Saga and for that the food prices might be worth it. The restaurant has really delicious locally sourced food, but the prices are 1000 円+ and the sizes are a little small. I recommend eating a little bit before so you don't spend to much here. If you just want to see the night view, the free observation deck on the top floor is a good option
Overall, this is an excellent place to try Saga's local foods and a very...
