The food was fairly food, but not excellent.

The most unpleasant thing was the charged prices were different from the menu. And the staff did not inform us while we order!!!!!!

The price for scallop shown on the menu is ¥820 each, the bill was ¥1500.

The price for rice bowl shown on the menu is ¥6500(big), the bill was ¥9800.

I raised the issue when I checked, the staff just told me that was “today’s price”.

This was crazy and completely unacceptable. And this is the worst restaurant that I have ever had in...

We chose to visit this sushi restaurant located inside the fish market. Unfortunately, the quality of the fish was disappointing — poorly prepared. The food definitely didn’t match the high price. At first, we noticed the place was quite empty, while other restaurants around have quite a long waiting line but assumed it was because it’s more expensive than nearby spots. However, after trying the food, we realized the price and quality just don’t go together

However, the simmered rock fish and the sake clam...

This is I think one of the restaurant in Nijo Market that still open at 4 pm. I tried the most expensive: Mansoku Don. So I could try all the types of seafood meat.

For me the best seafood were Uni (sea urchin) and prawns. I expected more for the Toro (fatty tuna), but somehow I feel a bit not fresh? But I can still finish the bowl.

The food comes on a set with a soup...
