However, contrary to the reviews, we did not have a good experience. We ordered the most expensive premium seafood bowl, but were disappointed to find that the amount of seafood inside was very lacking for the price we paid. The bowl was very small, and only a few thin pieces of sashimi were given. We had seafood bowls at many other places in Hokkaido that cost half the price but had more items inside. Read moreCame here early on a Sunday morning and had a great experience! The inside is large and spacious. No wait- the hostess immediately led us to a private room and gave us a QR code, which led to an English menu and you could order right off the site. Food was brought to our table quickly and was super delicious. I got the premium set, and my friends ordered the salmon, tuna, and pork set. Got a lot of apps too, the limited time fried corn (sorry not pictured) was our fav.

Read moreI've eaten thousands of meals in Japan, but this is the first where I have to say: the rice was just not that good. It was boring rice to start with, but they also didn't vinegar it at all. I've never had a seafood bowl with rice this boring! But also, the ikura (salmon roe) was somehow rather tasteless as well? I didn't know ikura could have such weak taste!
So yea, maybe their grilled dishes are better, but I would never come back here for a seafood donburi. What a shame, with...
