This is a small pizzeria that serves Japanese-style pizzas and gelato.
Location-wise, it kind of seems like a rest-stop for drivers passing through Jozankei, but the interior definitely had a better look than your standard teishoku restaurant.
There aren't any English speaking staff, so you're gonna have to resort to basic phrases and pointing at stuff. They're pretty accommodating and you shouldn't have any issues really.
Some small things to note, they have self-serve water so don't expect them to come over with a glass. They're cooking the pizza with a legitimate pizza oven built into the kitchen, you should take a look when you're looking over the gelato selection. Last thing would be that these pizzas are a bit too big a single person so hopefully, you'll come with a friend.
Ordered their luxury salad pizza, and I cant say that I should've expected different. It really was a salad on a pizza with cold smoked salmon on top. If you're not into salads, you will not like this pizza.
One interesting thing to add is that they have soba ice cream and considering that Hokkaido is also known as a huge soba exporter, you've gotta try it. Feels weird thinking about buckwheat as a gelato, but it's got a rustic flavor and the soba bits don't really take anything away from the smoothness of the gelato.
Next time I'm in Jozankei, will probably stop by again and try their spicy meat...

There is a parking space just outside the store for customers. Upon entering, you will select and pay for your order. Then you give the tickets to the staff and they will prepare your order.

We are lucky to see lovely hydrangeas outside the...

For two pizzas, it costed us 4900¥ (30€), the size was correct but not very big.
We tried the gelato, for 1100¥ we got 6 types. All excellent. I highly recommend the Yusu-coffe one.
Highly recommend if you are nearby and have...
