One of the best way to commute in jozenkei in thid kind of season (end of October) is by using bicycle! It's a bit difficult for foreigner to use bus or car, so this place is your saviour because they rent a bike! Bike is limited so first come first serve :) It was only 1k for one hour, the owner is super generous she gave me even some extra free time (she speaks English very well)! With bike you can go to jozankei dam easily & all other area, but for the other dam (it's far & need to use bus again) a bit difficult. The bike was in perfect condition, no worries. She also sells ice cream, you deserve this delicious ice cream after the tiring day ;) overall this place is very friendly, nice, rent the bike!

Very nice and cozy place. I found this true local coffee place while I was waiting bus to Sapporo. Perfect coffee and atmosphere to warm urself up in Jozankei. Staff and owners are very kind and friendly. As its name shows , it is real local style coffee shop. U can try Hokkaido coffee. Moreover, Famous Soba restaurant is next door. Take Soba and go for a cup of coffee! :)

Fantastic friendly and helpful staff. Locale shop owner has an airbnb you could try to contact for a booking. Electric bikes are soooo awesome for unfit people like myself. Trust me. The electric bikes help you see so much of Jozankei. At 1000yen for two hours and 1900yen for four hours the fun and convenience is so worthwhile....
