Me and the wife are on our honeymoon travelling all of Japan and we came across this place by chance and I have to say I'm glad we did. We both don't speak japanese we know enough to be polite but it was easy to order as they have a qr code to order and it's in a few languages. So down to the actual review it's incredible this place is on it game for food and service to the point it would be awarded a bib gourmet and the food is michelin star level also I loved how nice the kitchen was and the atmosphere. It's very rare I write a review of a place but I hope the owner and chefs can translate it on Google so I can pass this on since I couldn't tell them in person. Read moreThis dining experience was really an eye opener. As a foreigner, I didn’t know a Japanese restaurant could have this kind of bad service. When we did the order there was a default option for white rice - serve after main dish. We did not double check when we sent order. eventually, the rice came after all the dishes. There was no point when rice came as the last dish as nothing to eat with anymore. So we told the staff to cancel the rice. But the staff refused to do it as he said we still had 2 more dishes. However, we didn’t. The staff said it just to make excuse to let us accept it. Then we double checked our order and we made sure that the rice was the last order. And finally explained that because we selected “serve after main dish”. However, we didn’t as again it was a default selection! Read moreThe chef was so rude. Up until the end of the meal, I was quite happy. the food and vibe are overall nice so i wanted to spread some nice words and maybe share it on my page. I was seated on the 2nd floor so when i came down to leave, i wanted to take a quick video of the chef on the 1st floor since it's an open concept and the counter seating looked interesting. Once i pulled the phone out to take the video, the chef suddenly froze and stared at me. at first i thought he was posing, but then i realised he stared at me very rudely and was waiting for me to stop taking the video. Once i put my phone down he kept staring at me until i left, so it's OBVIOYSLY NOT POSING - you can see the video for urself.
