A long-established Indian restaurant in Chuo-ku, Sapporo. Subway Tozai Line, Nishi 18-chome Station is the nearest station. There is a 5-minute walk from Nishi 18-chome Station on the website, but it actually takes about 7 minutes (I walked faster, but walked more than 5 minutes). The shop is on the first floor, like a house. The shop is relatively easy to find because it is located along a wide road and you can see signs. There was a parking lot on the right side as seen from the front of the store, and it seemed that about 4 cars could be stopped.
There was a small garden on the right side of the store. This garden was playful and a small figurine was decorated to soften it. There is a cash register right in front of the store, and the back is a kitchen. There were about 4 or 5 employees in the kitchen. Only table seats were visible in the store. Even if I went alone, I was guided to the table seat instead of the counter. I went around 14:00 on weekdays, but it was quite empty because the lunch time had passed. The menu has many menus that seem to be delicious. There were several types of chicken curry, mutton curry, and vegetable curry, and there were curries using Hokkaido vegetables. There is also a popular soup curry in Sapporo. There is also a menu for children. Nan comes with curry and a set, but it ’s a bit bigger than a plate. You can change to Parata or Roti with a plus fee. If you ask for a drink, you will be served an orthodox drink such as coffee. There was also alcohol and lassi. Curry is mutton curry. Spiciness is No. 4. I didn't feel any pungent taste and the mutton was so soft that it was an onion-based masala and a very delicious curry. Nan comes painted with butter. There is Biryani on the menu, but it is limited to weekends and holidays. One potato steamed by service was service! This was sweet and sweet and very delicious. They also bring salt, but it was very delicious even in the curry. I asked for a cover (kebab) for the takeout. Three for about 900 yen. I think these prices are just right for this taste and...
Read moreThe store is easily accessible and visible. About a 7 min walk from the nearest subway station.
Greeted at the entrance by a dark interior, we were guided to a table by the sunlight.
Ordered the mutton curry and butter chicken. Curries are served with naan. You can choose up to a spiciness level of 7 for free, any higher comes with an additional price. For reference, we ordered with a spiciness level of 5 and 3 respectively and it was quite tolerable. Recommend trying at spiciness 7 if you really want to feel a kick.
The mutton curry was delicious! The lamb was soft and melts in your mouth. The butter chicken was less sweet than other restaurants I've tried and tasted equally as good. The naan was soft and fluffy! The meal was more than enough to fill our stomachs.
I recommend trying if you're ever...
