Food is decent but cheap fish used for Omakase. Not worth it. Felt completely ripped off.
No creativity, basic sushi. Can't see how it is or even was Michelin level.
We went for the top tier menu at Y17,800. Sashimi 3 types: octopus, tuna and half a scallop. Grilled items is 2 pieces of shishamo, eggplant (boiled it seemed). Chawanmushi overcooked. Sushi chef also inconsistent in preparing sushi, one of my pieces (kinmedai) had no topping, but another customer's was topped with chives. Another time, customer had 2 pieces of tamago. Not sure if he ran out but I only had 1 piece.
Tea and water small cups, no free flow.
The best dish was the shishamo but from there on it just went downhill. Saved by desserts, the jelly...

Judge this by yourself if you have seen this before in mid/high end sushi restaurant: When we had the salmon roe sushi, we found a salmon roe was hanging outside of the seaweed, at that point of time we thought that we were sitting in front of a conveyor belt 😅
The other day we went to another Michelin restaurant named Kukizen in Otaru. It was way better in term of the technique by the chef, presentation and the favor...
Read moreTheir food is absolutely overpriced. We chose the most expensive omakase menu (appetizer, grilled stuff and 10 sushis for 19500 yen for each including tax) As someone said below, their sushi is pretty much the same as you would get from those on a conveyor belt. A few were pretty bad. I felt some of the reviews on this restaurant below were scams (“heaven on earth “????)
We heard this was Michelin star restaurant. It was not. and after all the meals, i felt completely ripped off… people were nice but that didnt make up the bitter feeling of wasting $275 for not even filling meals. Go somewhere else. This one is a...
